A brand new operating system for iOS devices should mean a lot of good things for owners of the iPhone and iPad. If rumors turn out to be true, then Apple users have a lot of great upgrades to look forward to, especially because iOS 10 was deemed by many to be a near perfect platform. But while the new iOS 11 features will undoubtedly be enough to excite tech heads around the world, there will also be a few new things to look forward to in the iOS 11 for the general user, including new iOS 11 emojis.
With every iOS update, Apple introduces a bunch of new emojis that are sometimes kept exclusive for Apple users. That means that an Apple user has the freedom to send this emojis across a number of message sharing platforms, but they may only be viewed by those who use an iOS device only.
For this year, there is little doubt that Apple will introduce some exciting new emojis. But while that is a given, considering Apple’s history of releasing new emojis, the new upcoming iOS 11 will probably load them up by numbers like never before. This is because, for 2017, it is rumored that Apple is focusing heavily on the social media aspect for their users to really step up their presence with the “always online” crowd.
Like every year, there is no way we will come to know about what new iOS 11 emojis we are going to get before Apple actually releases it. But the fact remains that there will be some cool new additions to look forward to. Thankfully, we already have an idea of what to expect from Apple for this year. Late last year, the Unicode Consortium had approved several new emojis that were supposed to make their way into the iOS at a later time. Since then, that list has been further expanded and now includes many new emoticons that are set to come out in June this year. While iOS users will probably only get them after the release of the iOS 11 beta, we are now in the know about all of them.
The new emojis include humanoid figures like Mermaids, Vampires, Zombies, Genies, and Elves(all available in both female and male versions) among others, there will be other additions like a brain, a hedgehog, some new winter garb, a Tyrannosaurus Rex, a Brachiosaurus, a Coconut, a Broccoli, a Pretzel, a Steak, and a Sandwich. We expect a lot more to be included in the final list.
We don’t know if these would be included with the initial launch of the iOS 11 itself, but they will certainly find their way into it eventually. Regardless of when they will be brought into the platform, we are certain that the iOS 11 emojis will be a real delight for text-maniacs.
